1. Charter schools are public schools
2. Charter schools are tuition free (see number one)
3. Charter schools must admit any student, regardless of sex, race, family income, special needs, handicap, etc (see number one)
4. Charter schools have the freedom to make many decisions at school level. Including: curriculum selection, hiring of staff, school schedule, and class sizes
5. Chartered public schools are designed to be different than non-chartered public schools. Otherwise, what’s the point of choice? Right?
